Tyler Florence Fresh

In this lovely cookbook from Tyler Florence, he takes fresh everyday foods and demonstrates how to prepare them in innovative and delicious ways. I appreciate how approachable he makes his recipes by using easy-to-find ingredients and making them work in unexpected ways. Contrast is key, as he’ll play with sweet, sour, tangy, tart, and spicy flavors to mix it up and surprise the palate.

Baked Wing Recipe

Impress your Super Bowl party guests with this easy, delicious baked wing recipe. I love to serve it with both a Roquefort/Mayo mix and my favorite Wing Time Buffalo Wing Sauce. Here are the steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 425
  2. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and parchment paper
  3. Dust chicken wings (buy plain chicken drumettes) with garlic powder and garlic salt
  4. Bake in the oven, turning every 15-20 minutes until dark golden brown
  5. Serve with cut celery and carrots along with buffalo sauce and the roquefort/mayo mix
  6. Enjoy!
