Janet’s Loves: Beth St. Paul at New York Life
We are so excited to share that Beth St. Paul has launched a financial services practice affiliated with New York Life! Beth has been a client of New York Life for 30 years and knew it was part of her passion to help others enjoy the same peace of mind she has felt working with the team for decades.
After Beth and Janet’s sister-in-law and step-sister (both Beth’s age) passed away in the same week in 2021, Beth paused to reflect on what the next phase of her career might look like and realized that she still had a strong desire to work directly with clients. She quickly came to the conclusion that 3 aspects of any position included 1) Working directly with clients 2) Being of service and 3) Using her business skills to really make a difference.
With all of those objectives in mind, Beth was approached by New York Life to join their team and has been loving being able to work with so many individuals and families. The company itself is 175 years old, ranked 72 on the 2022 Fortune 500 list, and as a mutual company, they are accountable to all of the clients.
The company is fully aligned with the policy owners, not with outside investors or Wall Street which allows New York Life to focus on delivering lifelong value to the clients, including sharing the success of the company by paying dividends to eligible clients for over 166 consecutive years.
As the saying goes, love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life, and that’s what Beth has really seen shine through in this position. She stated, “The ability to assist individuals and families in creating a path to their dreams whether those dreams are college for their children, protecting their family from unforeseen financial issues, planning for their retirement they want, or helping make sure parent’s care will be guaranteed when they need it, is an honor and privilege for me. That’s why I do what I do.”
So, whether it’s reviewing your retirement plan, helping your children develop a plan which protects their families and builds resources for the future, or creating protection strategies for income and long-term illness, Beth can be a resource for you and your family.
The opportunity to be of service to JSP clients would be an honor. Beth can be reached at: (504) 460-2877 or firstname.lastname@example.org
