Eve Michaels, a longtime friend and client of Janet St. Paul, is an Image Consultant, Style and Makeover Expert, published Author and owner of The Shop Austin. The Shop Austin started as an Image Consulting Studio, but when Eve found that the accessories she needed to complete her client’s wardrobe were not easy to find, she found herself in the jewelry business.

Eve’s Story

As she traveled, she began collecting accessories and wardrobe-enhancing pieces. In her book, Dress Code: Ending Fashion Anarchy, she calls accessories the “punctuation marks” in the vocabulary of image, as it is the special touch that gives a look great style and panache. Eve’s passion has become procuring fabulous, one-of-a-kind pieces for her clients—from demure to vintage, or bold to modern. She gets a huge thrill out of matching a client’s energy to the amazing pieces she puts on them.

As Eve continues to travel in search of beautiful pieces, The Shop Austin is now an online store to make her discoveries available beyond her clientele. What is unique about Eve’s collection is that many of her pieces are vintage and not readily available to the general public.

At the upcoming The Shop Austin Trunk Show at Janet St. Paul Studio December 5-8, Eve Michaels will have a sampling of her collection and provide personalized guidance on selecting pieces that will work with your greater wardrobe and personal style.
