When Janet met Riley, founder of Woke Beauty, there was an obvious connection between the two and the focus of their work—the celebration of women’s inherent beauty. While Janet St. Paul’s mechanism for helping to accentuate and highlight a woman’s natural beauty is through hair and makeup, Riley does this through a unique photographic experience.

The Woke Beauty Process

In the same way that Janet St. Paul and her talented team of stylists take a consultative approach in working to ensure each client leaves the salon looking and feeling their best, a photography session with Woke Beauty goes beyond the traditional point-and-shoot, resulting in happy, confident subjects. (And let’s be honest, how many of us truly love having our picture taken??) Some of what to expect prior to a photography session with Woke Beauty include a special questionnaire, a customized mood board, wardrobe suggestions and a pre-session, in depth meeting where Riley takes the time to get to know you. Then, expect to receive a photographic experience that will leave you thinking, “Wow. I am incredible.”
