Janet's Loves Austin

There are so many delicious places to enjoy around Austin that feature creative cuisine from noteworthy chefs. Whether you’re looking for the perfect night out, a takeout spot, or a quick bite to eat, these are Janet’s go-to spots for any occasion.

If you haven’t tried them out yet, make sure to add them to your list and let us know how you liked them during your next appointment.

Comedor – Modern Mexican // This award-winning restaurant is always so inventive. The food and the experience feels artful. I also respect and admire the way Comedor takes care of the food and beverage community. Their initiatives are helping so many stay healthy.

Oseo – Korean-American // Oseo Owner Lynn Miller was a chef in NY. Thankfully, Oseo is serving up a menu inspired by her mother’s recipes. Fun and flavorful menu!

Gati – Vegan Ice Cream & Gluten Free Desserts // Gati is a favorite sweets spot on the East side of town. A popular spin-off of South Austin’s Thai Fresh chef, Jam Sanitchat creates some of the most inventive and delicious special flavors.

Janet recommends the Sour Cream Coffee Cake and Banana Cream Pie — Note, this is a Special order!

Suerte – Mexican // Another East side staple for fresh, locally sourced and creative cuisine. Great place for delicious cocktails and light bites!

ATX Cocina – Modern Mexican // This is our go-to downtown spot for after-work cocktails and comidas. Always fresh and delicious. I just love it!

Aba – Mediterranean // This is Austin’s first restaurant from the amazing Lettuce Entertain You team. With locations in Chicago and Miami, our Austin Aba brings the notorious flare for flavor and excellent service to our fare city. They know the formula for perfection. In fact, a client who is Israeli says the food reminds her of home. It’s top notch, and the combination of service and food makes the experience special.
